Which Smart Tabs?

I just bought a 2005 Tahoe Q6 5.0 220hp and I am having a lot of trouble steering at low speeds and my planing is ok but I am sure it should be better.
I have read all the posts I could find on the smart tabs and I saw that people with hp ratings a little lower than mine were downsizing the chart a bit.

Question is, do you think I should downsize too? Would the extra 30 or so hp be enough to push me into the 80# category or should I go with the 60# ones?

Thanks,
Steve

Is It too late to change over to hydraulic trim tabs?

Since this is my first boat, I am pretty much boat-ignorant. I have no idea if I can use hydraulic or not. If it requires a fair amount of attention to make sure it is at the right level then it probably wouldn't work in my case. I have a wife and teens that will be taking the boat out on occasion so I don't want them worrying about another thing to mess with. I have read where the smart tabs are just install and leave alone.

The 60# tabs will do fine.

Thanks Mccownk, I figured you would have the answer!
