Greetings

I have removed the current three blade prop from the lower unit of my newly aquired 1967 50ph Merc. However, there are no markings on it to tell me what I have.

Does anyone have information on what it could be i.e., pitch or Mercury part #

Thank you

Look at the end of the hub for numbers.
Mercury # like A-48-22105A2
would be a 10 3/4 x 10

Did you take the prop off and look on the hub under the tab washer?

If no numbers under the prop nut a prop shop can measure it for you.
There is no "standard" prop.It would be selected based on the application.
A merc fan may be able to guess based on a detailed descrirtion of your boat and typical activities.

Thanks for all your replies. Unfortunately, all that I've been able to find is the number "9". I would assume 9 pitch. Otherwise, I had my local merc dealer look at is yesterday, and they dont know either. Oh well!

My boat application is a 15' 1966 Starcraft Jet Star. Two adults and two small children. This boat is immaculate. All original.

Not sure what else is needed.

Have a great 4th everyone.

Thank you for the recommendation. I've had to put this project on hold for now, but will be back soon.
