have had boat for 12 years and it has gotten worse, its to the point i have to advance the throttle to get her started, and once going all seems fine, can ride the entire lake, but when i let off and come to stop, and turn off motor to just float a while, will not start again without advance , once running again try to take off and it stalls, back to neutral and advance to rev for a minute and it will be good, where do i start ?? carbs sucking air ? getting too much gas, could it be the mix being off, its pretty annoying when there are couple buddies ready to ski or wakeboard and it stalls every time, please help, thank

First, Welcome aboard.

How long has it been since the carbs were rebuilt? From the sounds, its about time. They probably have some gunk in the circuits causing the issue.
Get kits and boil them out, or have them done at a shop and you should be good, also check the timing and plugs, wire, coils and so on.
A good tune up and you should be running fine again.
