if anyone can help me out i have a 1999 mercury 200 efi she used to run real good but i lost alot of fuel pressure and i wa told that it was the high pressure fuel pump (which i can belive) so went to the pelican marine store and found it that it cost 900 dollars so i was wondering is there any other way to avoid paying this much?

I would not plunk down $900 on a whim unless you can get your ducks back if that does not fix it.

Call Promarine as their replacement is part #8090 and is about $600...

yeah from what the people told me that the pump is frozen up so either get a another one or try hitting it with 2 volts of power but if it runs from the 24 volts it might not last and i dont want to be on the water when that happens

Just replace it... if you happen to apply 24 volt to it and its still hooked to ECU your going to buy more than a pump:eek:
