Can you put a chevy 4.3 inplace of a volvo 4.3. Im looking at buying a 1998 monterey bowrider but it has a cracked motor due to not winterzing. The motor is froze up im guessing from rust. I know it is easier to find a chevy 4.3. I know that you have to use alot of marine parts but everything is there. Could most of the parts be swapped over? Thanks alot.

Ayuh,... It'll work, but the 4.3l has Alotta Gotcha's....
Block # for Block #,... No problem....
Year to Year,.. The Nightmares can begin....

So do you think that i should buy this boat. It is in great condition other then the motor that guy is asking $2000 for the boat.
