I have a 1997 Johnson ocean runner 200 motor. I am having problems with beeping noise. I unpluged wiring harness that is coming from oil tank and beeping stops. would that meen the sending unit is bad? i would like to do away with oil injection without hurting the safty alerts if someone can walk me through it. any help will be greatly appreciated. THANKS

What does the beeping sound like?

What kind of warning system do you have - simple beep or System Check which has beeps and lights on tachometer?

Are you monitoring oil usage to see if it's burning approximately the right amount of oil?

d. boat thanks for the response. i found out that my low oil sensor has gone bad. thanks again. i think im still going to start pre mixing and do away with the oil injection.
