My "new to me" fiberglass runabout has brown water marks on the hull. I cleaned it with a good hull cleaner and MOST of it came off, except where the previous owner must have stopped waxing. Now the front half of the hull is clean but the back half (hard to reach to wax) is brown. I have tried everything but cannot get it removed. Any tips??

Thanks.

How about buffing with an abrasive hull cleaner? Anything that's meant to remove oxidization should work well to remove that, and brighten up the hull at the same time.

Okay, thanks. I was going to try CLR but was afraid it would harm the gel coat. I will also try a buffing wheel with the abrasive cleaner. Thank you.
