Primer bulb going flat

Ive got a 1997 75hp force. The primer bulb started going flat when the motor is running. Whats up with that?

Means that the fuel pump is pumping fuel faster than the gas tank can supply. May be a bad primer bulb, blockage in the fuel line between the bulb and tank, or something in the tank blocking the fuel pick-up.

I had same problem, after alot of frustration I tracked it to my 6 gal tank, the hose inside the tank was getting sucked flat replaced the hose / filter not happened since. btw my primer bulb is origional at least looks that way still works fine, I would save the bulb for later in the troubleshooting process
