Mercury 1400 wire harness

I have a 78 cee bee avenger with a 1400 mercury motor and the wire harness is bad or has been broken in a few spots, need a replacement harness and I am very new to having a boat what do I need to look for to get the right harness and length too.

I had a 1500 on my '74 Avenger, until she blew up. Internal wiring harnesses are available at surplusunlimited.com. You might google the boat harness part number and see if you get some hits.

Well I have a part # for the wireharness that I need it was on the plug # is 45876 if anyone can help me out on it, thanks...

Yes that is what I need, all of the wires are all dried out and broken..
