horsepower?

i picked up an old johnson from an auction today for fifty bucks. its a johnson.... two cylinder, 2 blade prop. the motor looks brand new like been in a crate for its entire life. im guessing mid sixtys. no serial numbers though. and the cover just has johnson hand painted on it. i had an old lid off of a bit new six horse and it fits. could this motor be a four? thanks

hi.
on the mounting braket there is smal plate with ID.Also on the engines block, there is smal round plug with Id numbers.ithis id numbers will match(the same as on the bracket)
read the ID and you wil know hors power and year , and model number
