If I am on the great lakes with 2-4 foot swells, which vessel would ride / cut the the wake out the smoothest? The 22 foot Bayliner cobra, or the 22 foot Bayliner Ciera.

The Cierra.

NOTE: Nothing cuts swells except ocean liners and massive, displacement hulls!

On the Cierra, seated up higher, all the rolling/pitching is gonna be magnified by pure geometry over the lower Cobra.

Still, seems the Cierra has more beef, and that is helpful.

Between those two hulls I'd take the Ciera. It probably has a deeper V, does have more freeboard and more protection from spray/splash over the bow.

Not sure if there's enough room for downriggers on her though:p
