the boot from my transom to my outdrive has holes in it i was wondering if that is normal or if it needs to be replaced if it needs to be replaced how hard is it to do

If this is on the Cobra drive in your other threads, and this is the lower "exhaust" bellow then it is normal.

yes this is the cobra outdrive from the other post so it is the lower exhaust bellow
so it is ok to have holes in the bellow then

Merc put idle relief ports in the casting, OMC just cut holes in the bellows - both work.

Aslong as your u-joint bellows is hole free, you're good to go.
