I just recently purchased a 1979 Keyes Kraft 15ft bass boat for a rebuild project, retirement is fun!!, and I went to get title transfered. Because the price was low, $250 they wanted to know the price when new (excise tax calculations) I had no idea but seems to me in the 70's a new boat, motor and trailer of this type was selling in the $3000 range. Anyone remember what they paid for a 15ft bass boat with 50hp Johnson and single axle trailer, A basic Bass Boat of the day?
