how do i know how much horse power

1983 searay 210 serial number B55237, model num is mcm 260 motor is 350 cid,mercury can anyone tells me how can i know how much horsepower this motor have, i am trying to buy spark plugs for it but the guys in west marine told me i have to know the horse power. what plugs must i use in this motor.

Yes the engine if in good shape and tune can develope a max of 260hp

Its nice to hear from someone from the old neighborhood I saw some where on one of the posting a web site that merc has to tell you all about your engine if you type in the modle number I will try to find it for you its form a post a week or 2 old...
