I have a 1999 Johnson 90HP model J90PLEE which runs rough up until 3000 rpm then runs fine. I have noticed from many posts that this decarbonization process is recommended. What am I doing wrong?
Questions #2 - I am using Champion Plugs QL78YC; GAPPED @ .030?. Is this correct. I noticed on a similar post on a 1999 Evinrude, 90 HP that another plug was specified.
The motor has VRO.
I would certainly like to find this decarbonization procedure.
