Hi there,

I have a 1999 Volvo Penta 4.3 GL and was curious if a power assist steering cylinder for a newer similar engine would work with my boat.

I doubt many here know the difference between a 99 Volvo 4.3 cylinder and some unknown cylinder at an auction.

It's the cylinder for the newer engines. They look very similar if not identical so I wasn't sure if anybody knew if they've changed their design.
