What to do with old gas?
This stuff is about 6 months old and does have some stabil in it
Should I just dump it, or is it safe to mix it with fresh gas on let's say a 50:50 basis?
This gas would be used in a '57 engine.
Thanks for any advice.

I would mix it in my car/truck 5 gal at a time to make a full tank. Or lawn mower, weed eater, etc.

Good luck!

I tried that last year in my chevy.I can tell you now that car injectors do not like fuel mix. :(

Evinrude suggests disposing of gas over 180 days old. You are on the line and should weight the savings against the consequences.
I dispose of my old gas with an open 5 gallon bucket and let it evaporate.

Thank you gentlemen.
You helped me overcome my stingy side in favor of common sense and I really like the idea of letting it evaporate.
As for the C4.
Now that would be a waste of good explosives.
