The coils and cd's on my 1987 125 hp are black. I understand on some 125 hp models they are blue. Are they both made by Prestolite? Is there any difference besides the color?

Blue is original.Black was made later as a direct replacement.They ain't supposed to interchange.I think prestolite made them both.J
