After fixing a wiring problem with my IAT sensor, I am now moving onto fixing my Tachometer. My Tach is currently stuck at ~1900 RPM. It never moves, regardless of key On/Off, Motor running, etc. Simply stuck.
To me, this means it is probably a bad gauge. Is that a safe assumption?
Is there a way for me to test it? Or, givin that I've had wiring problems with this boat, could it be a wiring problem? (I would think it would stay at 0 RPM in that case...)
I have the Seloc manual, but can't find any reference to how the tach connects, so if there is some info in there, please pass along a section/page number - I've looked a few times and can't find anything...
Thanks.
