Trim Switch Question

I have a 2000 Rinker with a 4.3 Mercruiser. Lately, when I launch and press the down trim switch it just clicks. I have to press it several times to get it to actually trim the lower unit down. After this first few times it starts working fine.

Is this the trim switch going out? What should I check?

If it clicks the relays, the switch is working. Sounds more like corroded relay contacts or bad relays at the trim pump.
