I got 1989 johny 50 when I put it in forward gear I shifts in to gear nicey but when I give it gas there will be a thud. Jest one and only in forward gear. It wont do it again unless I shift in to reverse then back in to forward gear. There no metal in the gear oil but this motor is new to me and I don't know if I should be concered. I jest did a prop shaft seal not to long ago. I don't know if I messed any thing up?
