1982 Evinrude

Hi, Im from North Carolina and i just bought a 1982 evinrude 70. This engine is emaculate it was used one time in a pond. It came on an old boat with a trailer for 500. I cleaned the carbs and it runs great. I will be building my own boat to put it on. I was wondering if anyone else had this same engine and if its any good or reliable.

Those old rude's are good motors but it all boils down to how well they were maintained.
