New to the gas motor world. Just bought a used Mercury Mariner 2M, Serial Number #132791. Code ?? is 6A1. 2 HP. How do I find the year? (Replacing electric trolling motor) Also is there a way to get the owner's manual and any tips on what I should do with this motor before setting it in water tune-ups, new prop, that sort of thing. Please help me to care for my first motor the right way and learn more about gas motors in general. And this is a 2 stroke? is there a gas to oil ratio mix involved with this motor. Thanks.
