My 2006 200 DFI optimax ran fine all day, after I got home I flushed the engine out with fresh water, it ran for maybe a minute and then it stopped. Tried to start it and just wouldn't start. Checked kill switch, it was ok, still have fire, checked the air pressure on the rails and it was over 60psi (gauge went to 60). Does anyone out there have any ideas what might be my problem? I check the fuel filter, getting plenty of fuel to the filter housing. Do ya"ll think the fuel pump went out?

Sounds close to what my 75 did. Wife picked up a bit of bad fuel, like 20 gallons from last season... So little bit of water in the the fuel through the motor and stuck the pump it self not the motor. Took a test light, spark tester, fuel rail and cylinder pressure tester to the motor after all bad fuel removed. Couldnt find anything wrong so took it to a shop and they got in to low pressure pump and found sticky pump. Might be a place to look. From doing homework and the web looks to be common with bad fuel.
