I just buy a used boat And it has a 75 mariner motor and a built in gas tank 20 gallons. I put in 10 gallons put I can't get any pressure in the fuel line ? I made sure the gas cap was tight any ideas?

By "can't get any pressure in the fuel line" are you saying that it is not drawing fuel?

You are going to need to check the fuel pump, the fuel p/u, line, and fuel filter.

Re: Fuel tank problem

I tried another portable gas tank and everything worked fine ? Could it be in the built in gas tank? or the fuel line might need to be replaced? Thanks for any help

Re: Fuel tank problem

Check the pick up tube for your built in tank, it may be cracked, broken, gone or something else that is bad for fuel transfer.

Also check your tank vent, I had a spider of some sort plug one of mine up one time.

If you need to replace the pickup tube, they have some assemblies for Tempo and Moeller here on Iboats.com

Hope it helps
