Motor idles fine for awhile than stumbles and quits. If I'm quick on the draw when it stumbles a few pumps on the bulb smoothes it right out. I pulled the fuel pump apart to replace the nasty looking diaphragm and found this port to be full of gunk. Should it be clear?
I dug some of it out but was wondering if it was even necessary.
I want to also add, the gunk I was digging out seemed to be old gasket material and since this is on a plate (see black ring around larger port on the upper left, that is gasket material) it is not used on this model.
