what causes poor acceleration? I already changed the plugs, reajusted the inpeller, put on new online fuel filter.

Welcome to iboats!

How or what did you do to the impellar? Do you mean you changed it?

Have you de-carbed the engine? Essentially it cleans the carbon out and frees the rings http://www.iboats.com/CRC-Marine-En...6913106--**********.767991189--view_id.470437

Have you checked the compression? How about completely rebuilding the carbs?

Poor acceleration could be a hundred things ....... is the engine new to you? How's the prop?

We would love to help but, a bit more info is needed.
