Should the engine on my pontoon boat be positioned so the propellor shaft is horizontal ( parallel to the waterline) ? <br /> My propellor will cavitate when I set it this way ( parallel). When I lower the engine all the way down, it is tilted inward toward the transom but doesn't cavitate at WOT. Is my engine mounted too high ?<br /> Will it give me more boat speed when parallel if I can prevent the cavitation? <br /> Any advice would be appreciated. <br /> ChiliBill
