Fishing the flats

I am considering a 15 ft Key West among other boats to fish the Indian River, Mosquito Lagoon and other FL flats. I would appreciate inputs from those of you who do the same. Specifically I am concerned about draft and hull slap.

Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
