Force Voltage Regulator/stator

I have to get a new stator for my 95 70hp force but i dont know if i need the 9 amp or 16. the number on the stator i pulled off is 398-8778A28. Thanks

also the voltage regulator/rectifier model number is 815279-4 and my boat motor model number is 0E137820

i talked to a mechanic on the phone and he said i need to buy a kit that's like 400$ any help?

maybe standard magneto has what you need. They used to sell chrysler stators for $125. If not them, then try sea-way marine. There is always FeEbay, but their fees have gotten so high that it is hard to find a good price on anything other than junk.
