A little more info on what it is might help but Im thinking a boat/vessel salvage yard might be your best best. Or you get a fabrication shop to duplicate the piece.

It's the bottom mount for top. Mounts to the side trim, the top's 90 degree elbow sits in it. So it can be used to tighten the top when raised.

The top's 90 degree elbow sits in it but it's the bottom mount for the top.

Are we using 'top' to describe a location or a device (such as a boat cover)?

Nope, the "top" is the cover. The bracket is screwed to the side of the boat which allows the "top" support to attached, via the 90 degree fitting on the "top" metal support.

What kind of boat - have you checked with the manufacturer?

It's an 83 Galaxy Excutive 200IO, the company is now defunk and I haven't seen a tag on the top.

I figured someone was still making these parts. I was thinking of taking it to a machine shop and having a bunch made and sell if there is a market.

I have a Haas CNC machine and can make anything you want. It will be pricy to set it up though. Let me know
