I am looking for some help or some info I guess. I have searched online for hours trying to find what I can about a boat I am looking at buying. The title says it is a Glastex islander and I know Sea Star and glastex were one but this is not the same as the Sea Star label cause I also currently have a 1976 Sea Star Island and it has a Merc 233 (ford 351 motor) the glastex island made in 1976 has twin merc 188 (ford 302 motor). which I can't find any information on it. I can find the sea star and the interior design and tri hull boat are identical except for the engines. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find some info. Anything would be helpful. Is it a good boat mechanically? I need to redo the vinyl if I buy and just want to make sure it is worth my time. thanks
