I have a 1974 johnson 135hp motor in a starcraft and was driving and just dies and wont start. I checked the coils and none of them have power to them no spark and checked the fuse and was wondering where the power is suppose to be at on the power pack. Wondering if any one would know what the problem is or could give me some clues on what to do.

check the output of the stator, both the trigger and the power circuits. make sure everything is grounded properly. if there's no output from the stator that it is toast, if that is normal than it's your powerpack.

First, disconnect the black and yellow kill wire and see if you have spark.

You can disable most of it by disconnecting the large red plug at the engine and jumping the starter - click the thumbnail.

If you want to troubleshoot the powerpack, use the trobleshooting steps in the installation guide found here: http://cdielectronics.com/InstallSheet/113-1731.pdf
