Winch location

Need help on a location and setup of a typical crank winch.
i just have one of those basic hand crancking winches that i'd like to mount to the front of the trailer and with the pic provided could someone guide me on the best way to get er done?

easiest would be lose whats there and make or buy a winch stand with bow stop.

do u really tow that secured with bungies??

Agreed. Refit your rig with a proper winch stand and bow stop...the bow eye on the boat should be lower than the bow stop/winch on the trailer when the boat is secured. Use a safety chain from the boat's bow eye to the trailer and use a rachet strap across the boat just foward of the stern to keep it down on the trailer. Might also consider a longer tongue...that one looks pretty short.
