Can I convert my motor from controls to a tiller handle?

Hi there, I have a 30 horse Evinrude model E30ELETA that's set up for steering and controls. I'm wondering if I can change this setup over to a tiller handle and if so where do I find parts/info. on making the conversion? Thanks

I'm sure you could but it could be very costly. Ebay is a good place to start. Best of luck. Rick.

I did this with a 9.9 Johnson, I bolted on a long peice of metal that acted as my tiller, and for my throttle I conected up a brass knob that i pushed on to open the carbs and act as the trottle, I had drilled a hole in the cowling to make the rod come out the front, It came threw where the cable would have run. A lil pain in the butt since I had to drive with two hands on the motor but it did work,
