thanks ahead of time for responses

my fuel tank pickups seem to be welded... is that normal or am i just not turning it hardenough its a 170 gallon alum tank under deck

There is probably some corrosion on the threads. Spray a little PB blaster on the joint and give it a while. Those pickups are meant to be TIGHT!
