Will a 1992 carb power head fit a 1999 fuel inj. leg?

I have had a problem with a 1999 ficht 225 and finally found I got the shaft on buying it. It had a busted block. And the guy never mentioned that. The only way I found out was when it got warm and the t-stats opened it would start spraying water into number 6 cyl. This was after the head and base plate gaskets were replaced and it still did it. We did a pressure test and sure enough it was cracked.....Nice guy to let me know this right>>>>

Anyway, I would like to know if anyone can tell me if a carbed. 1992 200 hp power head will fit the 1999 lower fuel injected tilt and trim lower unit? I like the cowlings and the 1999 has a new gear case also and figure might as well used some of what I have. A friend is going to give me a power head to replace mine with if it will fit. The 1992 has a busted trans bracket where he got rear ended, but the power head is still in great shape. Just need to know if it will fit before wasting a lot of time one it. Thank you
