I want to thank everyone for such a great site. It has helped me with my boat alot. So I finally took my boat out for the first time. It ran great. All the work I have put into this money pit seems to have paid off. like I said great running boat. my guestion is while at wot there is a stream of water that is splashing into the rear of the boat. its not from the telltale hole. I think that it is comeing from the tranducer for the fish finder. could I have installed it wrong. It is located on the (faceing the rear of boat) right side, and the head is about 1inch below the bottom of the boat. this is a 1985 Chapparell 16 foot with a 90 johnson on it. or could it be something else. I just havent seen another boat doing this. thanks for your help. Steve

Mine is flush with bottom.
If you did it like the directions said then you should be good.

Id say have someone hang over the stern while your running and see what is making the water come over, but that can be dangerous, so i didnt say that. And dont recomend it.

Your transducer shouldn't portrude more than 1/4" at the most below the hull.
