Needle & seat

How do I get the seat out of my mariner 1981 50 4cl. carb. if it dont have a screwdriver slot in it , or do i just drop new needle in ??

If seat dont have screwdriver slot then it probley dont come out, some dont. Just replace needle. ( runs good now )
