it has the 2 barrel rotchestor carb on it, idles fine and drives fine, but it trys to stall or hessitate when taking off, if you slowly increase throttle it trys to dye out then hit the gas and it comes back. its a 1989 by the way. changed the fuel filter already, both on the carb and water seperator. what else could it be? also is it a common thing for the tach not to work, what are these run off of? it works sometimes then sometimes it just peggs out then sometimes it stays at 0. whats the max rpm these motors run at anyway? thanks!
