I bought a set of these lights that have a ground wire made to the light, and the bolts slide up in a track for holding them on. I went through 8 bulbs on a 125 mile trip. They were replaced at a Walmart parking lot for the trip home. Anyoune had decent luck with those lights?

That sounds like mine, They mount from back or side with the bolts sliding up in little slots. Called submersable's I think. They form an air pocket when backed in the water so the bulbs stay dry..
I have had no problems with mine, Yet ! I wonder if the bulbs are burning up or is too much vibration just shaking the filaments loose or something? Maybe you could mount a piece of rubber between the light and the bracket to absorb vibes ??
Make sure the trailor is also grounded at the front connector as well. Don't depend on the Ball for a ground.....Just some thoughts,,,,Good Luck !
