winterizing 260 mercruiser

hi everyone and alas summer has come to an end......can someone tell me the proper way to winterze my I/O<br />it is a 260 mercruiser ........have done many outboards but this is my first I/O thanks

Depends on your setup.. Make sure to drain risers, manafolds, block, transmission cooler (if equipped). Drain and refill outdrive. Change engine oil. Some people like to fill system with antifreeze/water mix.
