Fuel for 300HP HPDI

I just bought a boat with a 2005 300 HP HPDI and want to know what fuel I should 'or need to run in it'? Is the ethanol free gas realy worth the extra $1 per gallon? Last time I owned a boat we didn't have ethanol in our gas.

clean fresh 87 octane fuel.
the motor will tolerate up to 10% ethanol.
however the fuel system on the hull may not.
