Two years ago I purchased a 1966 Fiberform boat. Has a 110hp Mercruizer/GM engine which I'm almost certain is original to the boat.
I'm new to boating so this has been quite an adventure. We never had boats growing up.
So far with this boat I've rebuilt three splines just up from the engine mounts. The previous owner didn't take real good care of the boat.
Here's a picture of the outdrive serial #200515
My next step, I need to replace the prop. I think the previous owner used the boat to make gravel..
Also there seems to be an oil leak where the lower part of the outdrive connects (see pics) Is this a hard gasket to replace?
Also is this just a gas shock, or some sort of outdrive lift?
It doesn't seem to do much more currently than act as a shock absorber...
