1982 15hp johnson trouble

hi i have a jahnson 1982 15hp and there is no water coming out of the pee hale. i checked the impeller it was good. then i conected the air compressor and blow threw the water tube, the air was coming out of the exaust manafold. then when i put it back together exaust is coming out of the pee hole at idle speed but when i gas it it comes out of the propeller.

does it have a therostat? if so check that have you changed impeller or anything how long have you had motor when was last time tell tail worked when was last time impeller was changed?

Sounds like you have a blockage or a bad impeller, telltale is before the stat, hence why it's an "indicator".
