Hi, I have and 83 315 Commander. I went to fuel it up yesterday and had and accident. I removed the fuel cap, went to retrieve the nozzle, sat on the fuel cap, (Not paying attention), put the nozzle in my fishing rod holder, and proceeded to pump 17 gallons of fuel into my bilge. (I know, its pretty stupid) So, I pumped it out, cleaned it out with the absorption stuff, used bilge cleaner, but I want to be sure its safe and all the fumes are gone. Any thoughts or suggestions?
