I have a 1977 Johnson outboard. It starts up fine and runs great but sometimes it randomly loses power and I am only able to travel at a very slow speed. The motor still runs fine in idle but even if I push the throttle all the way up I don't go any faster. Then all of the sudden I'll get power again. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be?
