Hello I was wondering if anyone knows the size of the shear pin for a 55hp Chrysler prop as mine broke on a sand bar or rock not sure? Also if anyone has any parts manuels they could email for this engines. I am hearing Chryslers are not that reliable and a parts manual would be a good thing to have.

Thanks So Much Everybody

I have the service manuals but no parts manuals. :(

Been looking for those and can't seem to find them.

No need to go to the marina. Go to lowes or Home depot and buy a long stainless 1/4 inch bolt with the unthrweaded porting long enough to pass through the prop hub. Cut the threads and head off and use the unthreaded portion as a thrust pin. The prop shaft is splines so the pin in the prop is more accurately called a thrust pin

Possibly I have the parts manual for the 55 hp, but I need the model number.
