i dont know if i understand your question but if your motor calls for 24 to 1 thats what you need to use,,if it calls for 50 to1,you use that,,,,,,,what kind of motor and what year?the 24 to 1 was used till early 60s,,,then 50 to 1 for later mods ,,,make sure you use tcw-3, 2 stroke outboard oil to mix,,,,50 to 1 is 16oz to six gal ,the oil usually has a conversion chart on the back of the bottle telling you how much oil to gas ,for whatever ratio youre trying to acheive
