I hope you can help me. I've just purchased a Mariner 25Hp. The only id tag I can find is a small plate on the side of the engine which says "25E L552592 Made in Japan".
Can anyone help me identify the year of manufacture. I have tried several 'definitive' databases online but can't seem to marry up this serial number with anything I've found so far.
The engine has electric start and all cables - but I am not sure where to connect the fuel line or the teleflex. My existing teleflex arm doesn't seem to reach - is this is a case of having to buy some kind of extdending connector?
Any help you can provide - gratefully received.
